In it, the writer, Mandy Len Catron, and an acquaintance successfully replicate a study by psychologist Arthur Aron wherein two strangers meet in a lab, ask each other 36 questions, stare into each other’s eyes for 4 minute and subsequently fall in love. The original couple in the study married 6 months later; Ms. Catron and her acquaintance are currently in love.
