Heads up, San Francisco residents. California Academy of Science’s Spring 2015 free neighborhood days are coming up at the end of February through March.
The free days will happen over the course of four weekends, starting February 27th.

Zip codes 94116 and 94122: March 6th to March 8th
Zip codes 94108, 94109, 94115, 94118, 94121, 94123, 94126, 94129, and 94133: March 13th to March 15th
Zip codes 94102, 94103, 94104, 94105, 94107, 94111, 94112, 94124, 94130, 94134, and 94158: March 20th to 22nd
You’ll have to bring a CA-issued ID card (like a driver’s license), a photo ID and a piece of mail to a SF address, or a photo ID and utility bill/bank statement with SF address.
We went last fall and I’m happy to report that it wasn’t any more crowded than usual. By afternoon, most people were gone and we had the place to ourselves. Bean and a few other roaming toddlers banded together like tumbleweeds and played throughout the aquarium exhibit. A great (and free) outing!
