All Your 2015 San Francisco Bay Area Food, Wine, and Music Festivals: Spring & Summer Edition

Monday February 23, 2015

Our 2015 list continues to grow, now with over 160 fairs and festivals. Just when I think we’ve hit the Bay Area summer festival saturation point, I find a whole batch of newcomers and new-to-me fairs.

(Looking for 2016 Spring/Summer Festivals? Check out our Spring/Summer 2016 Bay Area Festival Guide.)

This year, in addition to all the artichokes, strawberries, garlic, fig, and asparagus festivals, we’re celebrating tattoos, magic, kites, and classic cars. And of course wine, beer, whisky, cheese, oysters, and chocolate festivals.

Happy festivaling.

  1. Thanks for the great info above. Will you be listing the festivals for September and October 2015 soon?

  2. Hi! I usually post my Fall/Winter guide sometime in the Summer — a lot of festivals won’t have dates this far in advance and I like to have as much info as possible when I publish. Are you planning a trip sometime in September or October?

  3. This is a great listing of events. Thank you. I will be posting to our new PositivelySF posts.

  4. Thanks for the info about when you will be posting the September and October events. I am a Realtor and am sending out a postcard with the listings of the art and wine festivals in and around the Peninsula. I wanted to include as many as I could. For instance, the Millbrae festival is usually Labor Day weekend…

  5. Gotcha. In that case, you can look at my Fall/Winter listings from last year here: All Your San Francisco Bay Area Food, Art, and Music Festivals for Fall/Winter 2014. As you mentioned, many of the festivals occur around the same time every year. You can click on many of the links and see if it takes you to the 2015/2016 festival date, if the organizers have already scheduled it. Hope that helps.

  7. Free Concert by SF German Band

The San Francisco German Band, a 25+ piece ensemble, announces its Annual Concert at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church at 1111 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco. Our band has been playing music in San Francisco for over 75 years.

The concert begins at 2pm on Saturday, May 9th. The program will include memorable music from Les Miserables, The Barber of Seville, and other popular favorites. Admission is FREE; donations are appreciated.

This event is co-sponsored by the German-American Society of San Francisco.

  8. Shouldn’t the link at the end be to Fall 2015/Winter 2016. All the events linked to are over.

  9. Yep, I usually put up the my Fall & Winter guide sometime in August, so watch out for that in the coming weeks! (When this post was originally published, there was some overlap with the end of Winter 2015, hence the retrospective link.)
