New Orleans

Snapshots of the French Quarter

Monday October 12, 2015

It turns out the French Quarter is highly photographable. Before the trip, I thought “the French Quarter” was one main street with some offshoots. It is 78 square blocks. That is a lot of technicolor shutters, wrought iron balconies, and overgrown ferns. At night, the streets grow lustrous with gas fired lamps and glimmering windows and sidewalks. It is absolutely enchanting.
