Dave and I spend a lot of time in and around Lake Merritt. We’re talking daily basis.
And it took us three years to discover the Blue Oak Cafe at the Oakland Museum of California. Indoors, it’s sunny and quiet with table service. Outside, it’s a secluded, multi-level urban garden with green leafy views of the Oakland City Hall dome. And the menu! Duck confit, grilled chicories, seared tuna nicoise.
It’s wonderful.
