Our internet is mostly out, and Bean and I are both sick. Alas, a sick day it is, for humans and internet connections alike.
Here is a huge slideshow the BBC put up to commemorate Queen Elizabeth surpassing Queen Victoria as the United Kingdom’s longest reigning monarch this week. It includes a photo from every year of her reign, and it’s kind of mesmerizing. A) Her smile and eye squint has not changed in 63 years. B) She wears a leopard-skin coat in one of the photos.
