Heads up, San Franciscans! The yearly Christmas Tree Collection Program kicks off today. Recology SF will be picking up Christmas trees placed on the curb, free of decorations, tinsel, and fake snow, beginning today, January 2nd, until Friday, January 16th. They ask that trees that are over 6ft tall be cut in half.

I’ll surely miss the ol’ dried out fire hazard currently taking up half of our living room. She was a glorious tree.
