After thinking up my Upper Noe mom style post, I was lazing a sunny afternoon away at Lafayette Park when my friends (childless!) started pointing out all the gorgeous moms.
Upper Noe moms, you may be intimidatingly cool, but oh, Pacific Heights moms… you are so pretty. Their outfits were so stylish that they were only mom-friendly in retrospect — all flat shoes, comfortable pants, etc. But, oh dear, the polish. And the accessories.
Pacific Heights has the reputation for being a little preppier, and it definitely shows in these outfits. But, they each took preppy to a whole other fashionable level. The women knew how to dress up old mom standbys like skinny jeans and button downs.
And they all had perfect, glossy hair. Keep that in mind here. Perfect little blown out flips and waves.
This was the mom that kicked off our stalking. Look at her. That is mom perfection. The ever-practical Birkenstocks are gold, the diaper bag is smooth black leather with gold hardware, and that red lipstick just brought it all together.
Note that these are the same olive moto pants from my Upper Noe mom style post, but they look so different here paired with a simple white silk tank. The fedora was so simply chic, the shoes were unexpected but keep everything playful.
This outfit is pure Pacific Heights prep. But she sneaks a little edge in with the destroyed denim, cool Raybans, and trendy slip on grey suede sneakers. It’s a great balance and keeps things from being too literal.
