I’ve been experiencing the joys and frustration of the internet being down all day. I stared at the modem with extreme consternation and disappointment to no effect. Went on an unplugging rampage, plugged it all back in, to no effect. Stared at the router just a bit more. That also didn’t bring the internet back, if you can believe it (I was staring pretty hard). Then I reached the point of ARE THERE ANY BUTTONS I CAN PRESS. And that is how I came to restore our router to factory settings. An hour of squinting at a users manual pdf on my phone finally led to the All Magnificent and Glorious Moment when our apartment once again re-entered the modern world.
