Well, what turned out to be preschool week is over. Thank the lord. We’ve toured, we’ve inquired, we’ve judged lunch time menus, we’ve been judged and evaluated right back, and we’re now on year-long waitlists.
(Although, I have to say, preschool in SF? IS A STEP BELOW PARADISE. That we could all go to these preschools next year. I had to stop myself from asking whether they accepted adults.)
(I’m mentally exhausted, you guys, if you can’t tell. And it’s only preschool.)
(So many parentheticals.)
I hope your week was more relaxing.
From around the web this week:
In local news, if you’ve noticed some added park ranger presence at Dolores Park over the weekends, you would be right. They’ve been issuing citations for lawn chairs, flags (?), drinking, and drug-use in addition to walking poor Robot Dance Party out.
Also, it’ll probably be a bad idea to urinate on SF buildings from here on out. The building will pee back on you.
What it’s like for a family of four to live in a 650 sq ft Brooklyn one-bedroom apartment. I think she may have crawled into my brain before writing this.
And then a good friend posted the most beautiful nursery that ever was. (We need a complete tour, don’t you think?)
If you’re still craving outerspace news this week, the New York Times came up with an awesome interactive feature showing every planet that Kepler has discovered outside our solar system. Watching the orbits go round and round is perfectly mesmerizing.
I’m currently wearing this shade on my finger nails, chosen by the toddler at Walgreens, and it’s like a dash of happy every time I look at my hands.
Have a great weekend everyone!
