How was your week? We spent the week getting re-acclimated to San Francisco after a couple weeks traveling off and on. And I started running again, thank you daylight savings. It…hurts. My tailbone hurts? I don’t know. I’m somehow in worse cardiovascular shape now than I was at 40 weeks pregnant. So, you know, cheers to me, pass the ice cream.
Have a great weekend everyone, and GOOD LUCK to a special friend out there who is embarking on a new job/life/mission as of 4pm today! We’re so happy for you!

In another life, I’m pretty sure I also live in a lovely English rectory. (I want it all.)
Also from Apartment Therapy: this slow draining sink trick was A) stupid easy B) took all of 3 seconds and C) worked miracles. Bean also enjoyed its explosive nature.
This made me laugh hysterically, and then I tried to read it out loud to Dave but I couldn’t speak through all the tears and giggles: Ways in Which I Believe My Life Will Resemble a Nancy Meyers Film Now That I’m A Homeowner. Some day, I’ll have specially dedicated finger fruit bowls too.
I guess it’s home week here. Let’s keep it going with this: West Elm’s kitchen collection is killing it right now, and it’s all fairly affordable…
Changing gears, some SF news. Muni buses are now outfitted with cameras; motorists, behave yourselves or face a $110 fine.
Not only is Polk Street getting some pretty new bike lanes, but there will be special traffic lights for bikes. Can’t wait to see this in action.
The 2015 James Beard Award Nominations came out this week, and (no surprise) lots of San Francisco restaurants and bakeries are in the running. (YAY and good luck, Craftsman & Wolves! Your cakes are sublime.)
