Arizona’s landscape really does defy description. It often sometimes even defies photographs (see: Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument).
Here is a collection of photos of our trip. From the alternating smooth and jagged faces of Sedona’s red sandstone canyons, to the charred landscape of lava and ash near Sunset Crater Volcano. From prehistoric pueblos sitting atop the Painted Desert to a stunning swimming hole set deep within Arizona’s red rocks. This is a state that doesn’t do subtle.
