How is everyone’s weekend looking? It’s supposed to be hot out — it might finally be time to head to the beaches and parks! We’re taking Bean to a “sibling preparation” class tomorrow, meant for kids between the ages of 3-6. I have no idea how this will go down! Then we’re off to lunch with friends and picking up borrowed baby goods. Because if you haven’t noticed, our entire lives have become about picking up baby goods.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
From around the web this week:
Michael Bauer, food critic at the SF Chronicle, has come up with this year’s top 100 restaurants.
In depressing but not unexpected news, the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development has determined that a six-figure salary is now considered low income in the Bay Area. Congratulations, everyone, how did this all go so wrong.
In related news, this 908 square foot home in Palo Alto just sold for $2.55 million. Yep, that’s about where we are as a region.

This public art installation in Denver is unnervingly cool.
Taylor Stitch, Mill Mercantile, and Unionmade are having a joint sample sale this weekend in Potrero. TWEE COUNTRY HIPSTER CLOTHES FOR EVERYONE.
I’ve decided this might be the best postpartum shirt ever created. Pouch hiding and breastfeeding friendly.
Catastrophe is back on Amazon tonight, and this is a fun interview with Sharon Horgan.
