Great news for anyone traveling through Oakland tomorrow!

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for BART’s Oakland Airport Connecter was this past Friday, and the connector is now officially open to passengers.

To use it, riders will take BART to Coliseum Station then transfer to the connector. The Oakland Airport BART station is inside Terminal 1 (aka the non-Southwest Airlines terminal).

It’ll cost $10.05 to go from Oakland Airport BART to downtown San Francisco, with the people mover arriving every 5-20 minutes depending on the time of day.
