Photo of the Day: Even the parking lots have views here

Thursday January 26, 2012

I met a few new friends for lunch today in North Beach. They read this here little website, and they all insisted that I just had to see the view from the top floor of this one particular parking garage.

Then they led me down a narrow alley.

Into an unmarked door.

Onto a tiny, metal elevator.

That opened onto a rust-tinged puddle.

Which did not result in me being kidnapped. I know! Instead, there was one of the most FANTASTIC, 360-degree views of San Francisco.

Urban explorers are good people to know. Thanks for a terrific day, y’all!
