Friday Link Roundup: Have You Teared Up at the Gilmore Girls Reunion Trailer Yet?

Friday November 4, 2016

What are you up to this weekend? We’ll be taking it easy after a busy week of work travel, parent-teacher conferences, and Halloween festivities. We’ll also be celebrating another friend moving back to San Francisco. (Actually, that’d be two friends who moved back just this week. This revolving door happens a lot.) SF: the city that you can’t afford to live in, yet painfully realize you can’t live without.

From around the web this week:

Kind of a fascinating map of carbon use in the Bay Area. It could be titled Do You Live Near a BART Stop?

Citylab offers advice on how to go carless in the city when you have a family.

Moonlight looks remarkable. Will you see it?

Oh, here’s another little trailer that dropped: Gilmore Girls Reunion on Netflix. I dare you to watch it without crying. (JUST AT THE TRAILER.) (Kelly Bishop forever.)

Also on Netflix, I really need to see The Crown. Now, just to find someone with Netflix whose sofa I can ride on for the next couple months…

The Onion is having trouble satirizing this election.“It’s hard to turn up the volume when the speaker is already blown out and everyone’s ears are already bleeding.” Yep, sounds about right.

Will Ferrell, typical millenial, wants you to vote.
