Have you heard about Giving Tuesday?
The 92 Street Y has partnered up with the United Nations Foundation to bring us #GivingTuesday.
A day to give to a charity of your choice, for a cause you believe in. I love it.
If you’re not sure where to start, JustGive.org is a good spot. Search for any topic (“animal rescue shelters”) and you’ll get a list of places you can give to, along with online reviews. It’s a $10 minimum to donate, and you can add up all your donations into a shopping basket for easy checkout.
And, of course, once you’ve given your donation, spread the word! Tell the world what you’re thankful for this December; the official hashtag is #givingtuesday or #unselfie.
